Regional Decarbonization and Resilience Assessment of Rural Logistics and Accessibility in the Sahel

Grid Engineers has been hired by the World Bank to support it in its investment strategy to enhance the resilience of rural logistics in the Sahel. The project involves a thorough stakeholder consultation in several countries in the Sahel aiming to identify barriers and opportunities for investments in the broader logistics sector in the Sahel as well as the development of a robust strategy for the prioritization of regions and preliminary assessment of the benefits of investments. This is followed by three deep dives in selected regions aiming to specify specific investment strategies that would encourage private sector participation and would maximize the development potential of the region.
