There has been a marked rise in the number of recorded landslides in recent decades, and this is being linked to climate change. Engineers have been exploring how shifting weather patterns have increased the landslide risk, and how we can address the issue.

Our specialists offers a wide range of services related to landslides. From landslide triggering to landslide risk mapping and the design of preventive and mitigation measures, we use our expertise to guide planning decisions, validate engineering design and test proof-of-concept solutions. When studying landslide failures, we dive into the specifics and explore contributing factors and root causes.
We are passionate about landslide mechanics and offer original methodologies for analyzing the complex landslide-structure interplay. Over the years of our involvement with landslides, we have developed a unique design method for slope stabilization with piles, we have proposed novel foundation schemes for the landslide protection of bridge-piers, and we have analyzed the seismic performance of several high cut slopes along transportation routes.
