As climate change is transforming the way infrastructure is built and operated, while resources for upgrading and maintenance may be limited, practitioners around the world are in need of new generation guidelines to help them incorporate new knowledge into project structuring.

Our expertise

Our team experts have worked with Development Finance Institutions, state agencies and research Institutions to produce several policy documents guiding the planning, preparation and tender process for infrastructure projects in various sectors. On the request of our clients, we have provided training as well as self-evaluation material to various stakeholders in several countries with different backgrounds with the aim to accelerate the application of new codes and policies in the regions where they are needed the most.

How we work

Our work relies on our deep understanding of infrastructure “genetics” -i.e. the complex interactions between climate, physical behavior of assets, capital needs and revenue streams within different infrastructure sectors- which stems from our close ties with a network of world-class experts in all components of infrastructure projects.

We use this expertise to support agencies produce policy documents distilling the process of introducing climate mitigation, adaptation and resilience in infrastructure projects. Depending on the product, our work may cover the entire project cycle or parts of it depending on the degree of detail requested and the intended users of the products.
