Delivering Capacity Building Seminar on Climate Resilience for Greek Ministry of Environment and Energy

We are delivering a capacity building seminar for the engineers and staff of the Greek Ministry of the Environment and Energy on February 15th in Athens, as part of our assignment by the European Investment Bank (EIB) to develop practical sector guidance for climate resilience proofing in line with the EC Climate Proofing Guidance. Rallis Kourkoulis and Maria Antoniou of Grid Advisors will discuss climate proofing for the renewables sector, focusing on wind parks, pvsolar installations, and battery energy storage systems.
The seminar will offer guidance and hands-on examples on how to implement:

• An initial screening, and
• A detailed analysis of climate resilience following the methodology proposed by JASPERS.
• Climate adaptation strategies will be then presented using as an example a solar park with hybrid battery energy storage in South Peloponnese.
