Earthquake rapid assessment tool

Development of an interactive rapid assessment tool based on real-time earthquake acceleration recordings to facilitate activation of redundancies or traffic rerouting plans in order to drastically reduce the time to resume operations following an earthquake event. The tool incorporates a client-specific quantification of the risk landscape of the highway (i.e. detailed description of the seismic exposure and assets vulnerability) and communicates outputs in the online platform of the network operator.
