Probable maximum loss assessment for Attiki Odos highway

Attiki Odos is a modern highway of 65.2km in length. We were appointed by the Highway Operator to assess the Seismic Risk of the highway and estimate the Maximum Probable Loss after a major earthquake event. The methodology involved: site-specific hazard analysis, evaluation of seismic vulnerability of key infrastructure elements (i.e., bridges, bored, and cut-and-cover tunnels and buildings) and cost estimation for repair and replacement.
