Bored Pile Retaining Wall to stabilize excavation cut

We were assigned by the geotechnical consultant the design and assessment of the long-term performance of a pile-wall structure at a highway section that experienced localized instabilities during the phase of initial excavation. The retaining structure was designed to provide the necessary safety factor against global stability while ensuring acceptable deformations along the highway. It comprises discrete bored cast-in-place piles (at various dimensions and configurations) for optimal performance.
