Design and Optimization of a pile-supported foundation on an unstable slope in Greece

Design of piled foundation of buildings on a creeping slope. Twin pile rows connected through pile-caps on their tops are to be installed at three locations along the slope in order to achieve a safe design. In order to minimize the potential building foundation cost, pile-caps are designed to subsequently form the buildings’ raft foundation.
